ABOUT MILLA'S HOUSE
Milla's House and Elle's Garden is named in memory of both Milla and Elle Gieselmann, the daughters of Memphis couple Frazer and Dana Gieselmann and sister of Ann Carlyle Gieselmann. In November 2016, Milla, age 6, died from Batten disease, an inherited neurodegenerative disorder for which there is no cure. Their daughter Elle also tested positive for Batten disease at age 2 and died in 2019 at the age of 7. The Gieselmanns have relied heavily on the Grief Center, and Milla's father, Frazer Gieselmann, says the Center continues to be essential to their family's journey through a grief that is complicated and messy. He emphasized that the Center had not only been essential to his family, but to his extended family and close friends, as well. Milla's House and Elle's Garden is located at The Front Porch at 4688 Walnut Grove Rd in Memphis, TN and includes 6 counseling rooms with the ability to hold grief groups.
